Biography

Marc-Antoine Adam brings over 15 years of senior international development management experience in a variety of roles, including program development and management, organizational development, and fund development at organizations in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Canada. His background includes a dozen years with the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) where he served on its Senior Management Team and with a term as acting CEO for AKF Kyrgyzstan. Most recently, Marc worked with the Canadian-based international NGO, Veterinarians Without Borders, where he led their program growth strategy in emerging markets.

Marc holds a Bachelor in Economics, Université de Montréal; Master in International Management, HEC Montréal; and Master in Development Economics, Université de Montréal. His wife, Evie, is Indonesian and holds a B.Sc. in Agronomy. They have two children, son Jaya (14) and daughter Aisha (9). Marc’s main hobbies are reading and baking, and favorite sport is baseball.
